Hi everyone, 

Welcome to my page!

I am Kimberly Brown, a teacher that loves teaching!  

This will be my 10th year as a certified teacher. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked as a paraprofessional for 14 years. During this time I decided to go to college to become a teacher. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from Shorter University and I earned my certified teaching credentials from Teach Gwinnett. 

The passion and calling I have on my life for teaching sometimes wakes me up at night because I want to provide my students with the best possible learning experience. I am always seeking ways to teach and engage them and in the process grow as an educator. My passion for teaching led me to earn my Gifted Endorsement, which I completed in April 2022.  Also, I became STEM certified through the National Institute for STEM Education in April of 2023. I am honored that I was chosen by my colleagues to represent our school as Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. 

In 2021, FourTheKidz Consulting & Tutoring, LLC was created. My goal is for every child to be successful, not only academically, but in life as well. I believe that relationships have to be built with each child and their parents. We are a team that should work together for the success of the whole child. I strive to teach my students how to become independent learners who believe in themselves. I have high expectations for my students, so it is only right that I give them the best of me. When students know you care, respect them as individuals, and you are excited about teaching, they will respect you and be excited about learning.

Someone once told me that I can’t save them (children) all. Maybe that’s true, but I am certainly trying to reach as many of them as I can! EVERYTHING  I do is FourTheKidz:)
